Before and after.

This view caught my eye as I dined with my family at Common Roots Cafe on Sunday morn.
Common Roots Cafe is a pretty fantastic place. Why?
Because:
+they love their local and organic farmers.
+they compost and recycle whatever they can.
+they built their restaurant using salvaged and earth-friendly materials.
+they turned two asphalt parking areas into a garden and grew 1500 pounds of produce last summer.
+they have good food.

She eats bears.

I happened upon a new blog today. [via: A Cup of Jo]
I truly enjoy the name and the graphic.
Don't worry, she doesn't actually eat bears.
But, she does make all of her meals from scratch.
Aggressive.
Inspirational.

Aged cheddar & apple melt [want one]

Pancakes [can't go wrong]

Tofu, veggies, brown rice [love. love. love!]
